Join Our Wellness Team

Root & Return Wellness is growing, and we are looking for clinicians across Connecticut who feel called to offer therapy that is relational, integrative, person-centered, and grounded in presence. Founded by Rachel Forbes, LCSW, an adoptee and therapist known for her depth, compassion, and holistic approach, Root & Return Wellness is based in Connecticut and offers virtual therapy. It is a place where therapists can do meaningful work while being supported in their own growth and well-being.

We believe that how we care for our clients begins with how we care for our team. If you are seeking a practice culture that values autonomy, authenticity, belonging, and balance, we would love to connect with you.

The Heart of Our Practice

A Culture of Presence, Integrity, and Connection

At Root & Return Wellness, we are more than a therapy collective; we are a community of clinicians devoted to mindful, compassionate care. We hold space not only for our clients but for one another, recognizing that being a therapist is both a vocation and an ongoing process of growth. Each clinician practices with autonomy and authenticity, supported by a culture of connection and care rather than obligation.

Our culture is built around:

  • Presence: slowing down, listening deeply, and showing up authentically
  • Integrity: doing the inner work that allows us to meet clients and colleagues with honesty and care
  • Connection: fostering a collaborative, supportive environment where every voice is valued

Here, healing is a shared journey. We believe in creating a professional home where therapists can thrive — clinically, emotionally, and personally.
