Change, healing and growth can be hard, yet it can be freeing and provide relief and possibility.

Are you feeling stressed, overwhelmed, anxious or exhausted? I understand the unique challenges that come with each phase and season of life. You might be feeling alone, like no one would understand. It is hard, when on the outside it looks wonderful and yet you are crumbling inside or being less than kind to yourself. Teens are facing anxiety, academic pressure, mood swings. Couples may be stuck, distant or recovering from betrayal. Families struggle with conflict, communication, tension, or disconnection. You may just want to keep going along, yet you can no longer ignore your struggles and not truly feeling well.

I have a holistic, “out of the box” approach. I draw on my depth of life experience and education providing clients a sense of feeling safe, seen and understood. I take an individualized, practical, down to earth approach in guiding and facilitating change. Change, healing and growth can be hard, yet it can be freeing and provide relief and possibility.

My clients experience me as kind, empathetic, honest, practical, relational and inspiring. Clients find me easy to talk to and feel safe opening up. They find relief, support, learn and look forward to our sessions. They feel the genuine support and gain new perspectives and experience feeling better. They leave each session with clarity, tools, connection and a resource to get them through until the next session. I utilize a blend of modern and traditional evidence based and creative therapeutic modalities such as Trauma Informed Care, Solution-Focused Therapy, Family Systems, Nervous System Regulation, Somatic Informed and more. I work with teens, couples and families.

I have a Bachelor of Social Work and Master’s Social Work from Central Connecticut State University. I am a Licensed Master’s Social Worker (LMSW) through the State of CT. I am also a certified youth yoga and mindfulness practitioner.
